Anglesey is one of my spiritual homes. I know this because I always get in a terrible grump when I have to leave. It’s a long grump, too, which only starts wearing off when life gets busy again and memories of the blue seas and golden sand fade.
I discovered my new favourite animal on our recent visit to this isle of delights – the baby cuttlefish. Needless to say nobody else shared my passion for these little cuties so I was eventually dragged away from their tank to further explore Anglesey Sea Zoo‘s invertebrate room, affectionately known as the No Bone Zone.
Whenever I’m down, I think of these cocktail-sausage-shaped, spineless bundles of loveliness and I can’t help but smile.
